Hydraulic fluid for floor service jack

I am rebuilding a floor jack and am wondering whether anyone can provide some suggestion of the fluid used the hydraulic fluid. So far I have been using the AW32 type of hydraulic oil which is cheap and easy to get. Shall I switch to a different type of fluid?

I have used power steering fluid.

I've always used jack oil. Most auto parts stores carry it.

yeah I just use jack oil in the quart bottle, cheap and convenient. unless it's a cheapo leaker, then it just gets whatever atf I have on hand...

It is reasonable priced and it does state suitable for hydraulic jack or pump.
