Not sure if it's been passed around before, but it contains drawings and parts lists for various Blackhawk, Hein-Werner and Walker jacks.

It's 255M so be patient...

EDITED:
URL pulled ... smaller version below. Thanks!

It has been posted before, lots of good info. It has a pretty nice Illustrated parts list that will be useful for your new S-4. :)

Yep... that is why I was out there looking. I see there is 1 return spring missing and I'm guessing the other is weak, so i know I will be looking for replacement springs soon.

A big thank you to CRTDI for leading me to that jack... it in great shape, no rust, it's still operational and does not leak (which is probably why it still has the cover plate).

I downloaded it and "shrunk" it to a more manageable size (7.5MB):

Thanks! I'm going to pull it from my server (and get back some bandwidth).

These old S-4 jacks are very well built and really cool, a piece of useful automotive art in my opinion. I can't wait to see some nice detailed pics.....

That's the way I feel about old vises also... pieces of art. I have been slowly collecting and rebuilding antique tools for my garage. It all started with C-Clamps, wrenches, then vices, and now jacks... I should have added an even bigger garage when I remodeled a few years back ;)

Will start the S4 rebuild thread soon. C ya there

Hey Guys,

I know I'm digging this one up from the dead. Can any of you re-up the file?

Thanks!

Just got my Aluminum S4 today, thanks or posting the link. Looks like I need the button bushing and spring. I'l probabley end up fabing something to make it functional again. I know parts are hard to come by for these, mine didn't come with the ID plate riveted on by the light, is there a way to get one? Anybody have a S4 jack just for parts with a plate they are not going to use?
