I am planning on ordering and installing my lift.I want to protect the lines from the lift to the motor, and to prevent a tripping hazard on the floor.Any thoughts or pics on how i should do this?

Cheap protection, just get cheap bigger hoses and slit them open, cover any exposed hoses.. anything would work.

On the floor you could attempt to make one of ramp style cable covers.. or recess them in the floor if you really want to..

Just google "floor cable management"

Parker, Gates, any hydraulic hose manufacturer is going to be able to sell you "jacketing" for hydraulic hoses. Parker has some cheap fabric stuff that is just a sleeve and adds a lot of abrasion resistance called Partek. The stuff I'm partial to is PolyGaurd. It's a spiral plastic guard that you wrap around the hose. Every brand has them and any hydraulic distributor will carry it. I do believe that the Partek source is cheaper. Either of them will cost less, offer better protection, and look far better than cutting cheap hose and sliding it over hydraulic hose.

I would think making a race for them to run in would be a good ides although may be a tripping hazard. Could you go up to the ceiling? Or have metal bent to make a raceway. Or run through electrical conduit?
