I know Wiseco makes forged pistons for all types of applications from dirt bikes to race cars. Maybe somebody painted the name on it because the really liked Wiseco?

For that price you couldn't buy the steel to make it. Plus it looks like it has quite a few press plates with it that are good and beefy.

Never heard of it, and Google isn't much help either.

There is a performance piston manufacturer named Wiseco, but no evidence that they ever made hydraulic presses (but they could have, many moons ago).

That upside down bottle jack with the pressure line tapped into the side of it obviously isn't original - a press manufacturer would have never done that.

It doesn't really speak to me for $75 - it's going to need a bit of work to get functional. The hydraulic power unit on the floor (if that's even what it is) looks like it hasn't been operated in 30 years.

The press could be converted back to manual operation but it would be a bit of work. I have my doubts as to whether a standard bottle jack will work in an inverted configuration - I think that the manual pump won't get any fluid to it.

what ton do yall think it might be.
Well, that depends upon the jack that is currently installed - it's hard to say from the picture, but probably a 12 ton, or possibly a 20 ton.

But without a functioning hydraulic power unit of some sort, right now it's a big fat ZERO ton!
