Not something I use very often, but when I saw this 20 ton Snap-On for $200 on a local Sale I had to have it. Works perfectly and seller included all the steel blocks and plates. Needs some paint. I can't say how old this is, but does have the old Snap-On logo. Steel says "Bethlehem Steel". No made in China stuff here.100_4475.jpg

While I'm not worried about this vintage press from Snap On, don't fall for a stamp of Betlehem on the metal to believe it isn't Chinese as that is one of the more common tactics. There is a Chinese Bethlehem Steel company that takes advantage of that assumption. :(

Now that you have it you'll be surprised by how many things you will be able to do with it. Nice buy!

Indeed, I use a 50 ton Dake pres very much like the one you have there both at my workplace and at home. I rarely need more than 20 tons to do most jobs. I often hear the comment form others "I never would have thought of doing it that way" while using it.

Start collecting blocks of various sizes, you can also use toe clamps to offset the force for clamping, pressing or bending.
