I recently acquired a "porta-power" type pump and ram, but can't seem to match the model numbers from it to any maker.

It has hose connect fittings are marked "Owatonna Tool Co, USA), which led me to think it is OTC brand, but the only marking on the pump and on the cylinder don't match with any I can find in lists of online places that deal in seal kits, etc.

The pump is marked: 1642 1001 W4

The cylinder is stamped: 6L
And on the line below "6L" it says "25.8 TON AT 10000PSI MAX"

Searching at HCRCnow.com for seal kits, I found this OTC parts diagram that is identical to my rams internals:

Here are pics of the pump, ram and ram internals:

Any help in identifying maker and source for seal kit would be appreciated.

That can be tough, I have run into issues when I have ALL the info and still get the wrong 'right' kit. I have found the least frustrating solution is the take the seals to a local hydraulic shop or seal retailer and have them match it.

Locally I use "Red Dragon Hydraulics" and "Fluid Seal" http://www.fluidsealab.com

Have you tried locating someone like that in your area?

If that is not an option, I have had mixed luck with emailing a seal manufacturer and providing them with measurements of the width and depth of the groves the seals sit in, the measurements of the seals themselves, and any numbers on the seals.

Based on the attention to detail I saw in your bench build thread I don't think you will have any issues with the resealing, if you can find the parts. There are a few tricks that can help though, PM me if you have issues.

Thanks for all the feedback, Heavymetal.
I have already been through my local seal & bearing place, which is always my first stop, since I like to keep business local when I can. They were stymied, and although they were able to identify one seal that would match the dimensions, it was a softer, lower pressure seal than I need for a 10000 psi ram.

Late this afternoon, I was fortunate enough to talk on the phone with a very helpful tech support person at HCRC, and he measured seals for me to verify that the kit for the later rams will fit my older, unlisted ram.

I was very appreciative and thanked him for spending the time to assist for such a small purchase.
My seal kit is now on the way.

Glad to hear that, it's always nice when you manage to have someone answer the phone who knows what they are talking about or enjoys what they do.

If you have issues getting the assembled piston/rod assembly into the cylinder bore, try wrapping a few wraps of electrical tape sticky side out around the seals that are causing the problem. Then gently tighten a hose clamp around it, helps to compress the stretch out of them. Leave it for a bit, then assemble immediately after unwrapping and lubing. I like luberplate (white grease) and petroleum jelly as assembly lubes.
