hydraulic table cart recommendations

I am looking to buy a mobile hydraulic table cart.

Similar to the harbor freight one or a northern tool ones, from the old posts I have read/found 5 years +, people have stated that those have leaked, didn't perform well etc. I am wondering if these things have improved any.

I would like something that lifts to over 34 inches high at least. 1000lbs would be ideal but 500lbs minimum lifting capacity.

There were several older threads in regards to this but nothing really recent that I have found.

I am hoping that someone out there has one that did not cost a fortune, this is not something that I will be using every day, but when I do want to use it I want it to work.

The shipping cost of these is pushing my budget which is $500.

I see quite a few on Amazon, but I am not a true believer in all the reviews on their website or any other websites that is trying to sell you something.

What brands should I shy away from?

Thank you

I bought the HF 500lb lift cart about 2 years ago and it's working fine. The 1000lb cart folds and lifts higher if that makes a difference to you.

All hydraulic equipment will leak as it wears out. Some equipment wears out sooner than others.

We can't always find what we want for the price we are willing to pay. We often have to seek the best solution that fits into what we are willing to spend in time and money to obtain it.

I have the 1000 lb harbor freight one.
It’s been faultless.

Perfect to roll up to an open tailgate and slide something onto then roll back and let down to floor. And vice versa going up.

Makes a good portable workbench/table also to roll up next to whatever I’m doing.

I bought one off CL, I guess it is a import like Northern Hyd / HF. It leaks down over night. I put a wood block in the roller track to prevent it from lowering over night. Not a problem to me. :)

I highly recommend getting one. They are great for unloading and loading semi- heavy items from a pick up truck bed and moving things around the shop. :rocker:

Thank you everyone, I realize at the price point I am looking at, I won't be able to have it all. Taking into consideration on how much I will use it the pitfalls should still be worth it.

The biggest issue is not lowering it after using. Some people leave them up all day for weeks or months on end which naturally increases pressure on the seals. If you treat it like a floor jack it will last a lot longer.
