Hydro shark 3 boiler installation

I built a 26' by 38' with 10 ft high ceiling and 2" by 6" walls(ceiling and walls fully insulated),(Also 2" of insulation under concrete floor and outside wall down 2')2 garage doors 8'by10' insulated. I installed hydro flooring(pex) with 4- 250' runs and am in the process of hooking it up. I bought a Hydro shark 3 boiler( Electric 40 amp 33000btu)(model sh3-10)Garage wired with 60 amp service Was wondering if anybody has the plumbing drawings, pumps, releif valves, mixer pump,expansion tank,valves, thermastat etc. I am planning on running it all on 1 zone.I have heard the shark 3 versus the older shark 2 needs a primary pump and a secondary pump. I know you can buy the board completed but I heard its a quite abit cheaper building your own. Iam also wondering how much more this electric boiler costs to run verses gas. Any input would be very helpful THANKS

In my area, it would be roughly 3 times as expensive to run an electric boiler vs natural gas or about 1.5 times as expensive vs propane...but that number could be quite a bit different where you are. To compare, let us know what your total cost is for electricity per KWH and what you could buy gas for and I (or several other people) can figure it out for you.

Gas is cheap right now (but that could change.)

Power is high right now and getting higher...(and that isn't going to change).

I think the best buy going is insulation.
