Well i re plumbed my system 2 weeks ago and installed my THIRD! hydro shark boiler in the last 2 months after the first 2 died on me.Ok the reason the others died may have been my fault because i did have the boiler unit located above where the purge vent was, so live and learn.
But now that i have re configured the system i cant see any reason why the unit should fail.I reinstalled everything, purged the air from the system, let the damn pumps run for 24 hours to make sure everything was good to go, flipped on the breaker for the boiler and it ran fine for about a week then ****!....Now i have no reading on the digital display and of course no heat.
I am about ready to take a sledge hammer to the unit and obliterate it into a million tiny pieces.
So what the ????? annyone have any ideas?
My plan for next year is to go out and buy a REAL boiler like maybe a Lion or an argo and install that or??
i really dont know what to do at this point.
All the extra time and money i am spending on this project is begining to make me wonder if putting in a hydronic system was really worth it.
