Can't really speak for that particular bulb, but have plenty other Hyperikon LED bulbs around the house and they have aside from one DOA bulb been awesome with great light output and no failures so far.

Bought $3000.00 worth of those exact Hyperikon LED lights for an LED conversion for our church. FANTASTIC!! The product, and even more so the company, are top notch. 3 or 4 lights were DOA and they overnighted new ones to us. Their "hassle-free UNLIMITED 5 Year Warranty" is very hassle-free. We had a total of around 5 or 8 lights go out in the first few months. They replaced them without any questions. The first few, they had me ship back to them (on their dime) so they could investigate to make sure there was not a production problem. The others, they just sent out new bulbs, no questions asked.

The told me that, if they are going to burn out they usually do so in the first 90 days and if they make it past that they are usually good for a very long time. We bought ours in June of 2015, had the couple fail that I mentioned above and no failures since.

I have 6 tube installed and 6 still in a box no problem at all...

As far as compatibility with Maxilite... you have to make sure if your fixture is Single End Powered, Double/Dual end powered... or is that a ballast or ballast-less fixture then just buy the right tube for it. It should fit in though.

I have 20 of their 4" recessed lights in the basement. No issues so far, I had one bad light and they were great to work with on getting a new one. Bought all from amazon. Much better price than others especially compared to walking into HD or Lowes.

I have ~30 t8 and can lights from them.

One of the t8s lost ~8" of leds. Hassle free refund and they told me to keep the light which is still working otherwise.

I would say based on the over 2500 reviews with an average of 5 stars would be a positive.
