I am in the process of finishing my garage and looking at lighting ideas. Anyone use Hyperlite's?

They sent me some information that I should use High bay lights

just another made up brand name for cheap imported garbage. The actual manufacturer of these products is Shenzen Long Sun Optoelectronics in China. They flood the market with containers of this stuff. Then it's sold under dozens of cool sounding "brand" names like "hyperlites". Then it gets pick up by amazon, 1000bulbs.com, or directly off of a brand name website where they pretend that they actually made the stuff. All of this should be red flags.
There are plenty of legitimate manufacturers of good quality, economically priced products out there. Satco, Maxlite, TechBrite, Eiko, Light Efficient Design, Atlas, Rab, all are real live American companies that are known lighting companies. They sell mostly through local electrical suppliers, but also thru some online retailers.
