Looking for suggestions on what to do for a cart.

I don't want it to be big- I really like that the unit is easily carried on shoulder strap but the flipping cables need a good way to be held. I am really surprised that they don't do a bit with the unit case ends to be able to wrap around the top.

My unit will probably not leave the shop much but I also don't need a big cart for a tool not much bigger than a skil saw.

I will probably add an additional filter/dryer to the cart to further improve my shop air quality (which isn't bad currently).

Might also figure a way to store the steelmax 9" saw on the same cart.

What have you done?

I use a half size shopping cart for my PM30. That might be too big for you tho. I keep my welder in the bottom as well.

Welder is a Miller 210 so it is nicely self contained, so I don't get to double things up there.

If you put up pics of your weld cart maybe we could help figure out a way to consolidate the two.

Miller 210 is its own cart, like the current MM252

This I like and may borrow the concept since I don't have a cart to repurpose.

That is a great idea. I am always fighting with the storage of the cables on my PM45 and have always wanted to build some sort of small cart for it. Might just have to see what I can find that is already premade.

Thanks all,
I buddy of mine has a small engine repair shop, so I got the cart from him.

I saw someone on here also use a hand truck in a similar way.

That's what I did too.

Well I was in HF to pick up some casters and started looking the weld cart.

For a few bucks more than the casters I went with the cart and proceeded to cut it up into pieces to suit my needs.

Still a couple things left to make it a bit better but I must say I would have had a lot more time in a ground up build that would have cost me 2-3x as much when you figure the cost of the steel I would have used from inventory.
