Hi Yall
Is there a locking 1/2 drive long handle ratchet?I use a 18 inch long Martin hand tools or a telescopic 916lg Hazet and I’m forever accidentally knocking off the socket and yes you’ve guessed it always drops into the most inaccessible spot.
Any suggestions?

I have a Titan 25" flex 1/2 and never had issues with sockets falling off. It is also what the Mac ratchet is rebranded as

Matco seems to be working harder these days with suppliers to make their own unique tools, especially ratchets after the rug kind of got pulled out from under them with the Armstrong factories closing.:dunno:

Rebrands are just a part of automotive tool life.

I’m not aware of any long 1/2” drive ratchets that use pinned anvils, they make locking extensions that will secure the socket, but depending on the application that might not fix your problem. It almost sounds like the ball detent might be worn on the ratchet, it seems to be a common issue here at GJ that Snap On fitment is overly tight, so maybe that would fit your application.
