Leave it in a customers car? Or did someone steal it?
If it makes you feel any better for every one truck brand tool i break i loose 10!

Well, Williams does sell a 3/8" long handled flex head ratchet.

It was in cart, the good thing the shop has cameras, so might chance to to get back.. if not then extreme measure will be used.... torch could come handy....... 50 gallons of used oil, dumped on the tool box person who took it

if you are looking for revenge clear super glue is pretty good for freezing up a lock.....very permanentlyDon't do that. Too messy.
When you figure out which one took it (assuming it was taken by a coworker), just wait for them to lock their box, clock out and leave. Then drill and install a grease zerk in the back of their toolbox and fill that MFer until grease oozes out or the front.......![]()
That or locktite the keylock on his toolbox. Then you might get to see him take a torch to his own box!![]()
or, Snag one of his ratchets when he isn't looking and "adjust" it with a chop saw.![]()
But that's just me.![]()
nope.... torch will be used.... i might torch his hand, car, house, family house, ectYou gotta be kidding! Get your tools back then take that ******* out back and smash both of his hands with a hammer.
co-worker

Like i said the fool just signed his own death warrent
I think lighting someone's family's house on fire over a couple ratchets may be a little overboard. There might be some better way to handle it.
But that's just me.
I hate thieves, especially tool thieves that take away your means to earn a living. Yes, I posted a bunch of childish BS earlier, but that really would be a last resort if management woun't back you up.
Me personally, I would make it known to every mechanic in the place what this clown has done......and at a loud volume as well. Everytime I saw him at work, I would say "Hi, toolthief. What'd you swipe today?" "hey, thieving c********r, steal any good stuff lately?" Hell, I'd even post his picture in the break room with a caption that read "Do not loan me tools. I am a tool thief. Do not take your eye's off me. I am a tool thief. Do not trust me. I am a tool thief." Run his sorry *** off the job. None of that really matters though, management should fire him pronto. If they don't, they are not worth your precious time. Take your talent and experience elsewhere. JMO.
No need to act like an internet tough guy (unless you're really dumb enough to go to prison for a couple ratchets). Just find out who it is and inform the management.
I dont even see why a co-worker would be dumb enough to
a. risk losing their job to steal tools.
2. steal tools they cant even use in the work place without putting a sign over their head.
Worst case, talk with the boss about it.
