Is this to pull off the damper? Does it have threaded holes? If it does, second one is type you want. A lot of times the dampers aren't a press fit on Asian vehicles, so you might want to ask someone who has done one if you even need a puller.

What do you need the puller for? I did one of those about two weeks ago, don't remember needing a puller for anything. :headscrat

I will say this though, make sure you get the honda crank tool. That thing is a real SOB to get break loose. I soaked it with kroil for a bit and it was still a pain to get off. Like all Acura crank pulleys.

What they are saying is you might not need a puller to get the pulley of. Just take off the crank pulley bolt ( A pain in the *insert favorite term here*) and wiggle the pulley off. It just depends on how stuck the pulley is.

If you are just replacing the seal then this tool might be very helpful for removing and installing the seal.

I have worked on Acura Integra, Honda Accord V6, and Acura Legend V6 timing belt and I don't recall using a puller for the crank pulley. Just wiggle it a little bit. Toyota need puller. Don't use puller that pull on the outer diameter otherwise the pulley can get damage. I think there are two versions of the crankshaft pulley holder (shallow and deep). Some pulley is much deeper than other. You will need some serious muscle to remove the crankshaft bolt especially if it never been removed before. Get some cheater bar.

Since you are already there, are you going to replace the camshaft seals, timing belt, and water pump? If you do, you may want to get camshaft pulley holder.

I highly recommend this seal puller. Work really well and save you some time.

I bought this puller on Amazon, the seal puller does the job very well. Pulling camshaft and crankshaft seals really fast, don't have to use screwdriver anymore. Recommended for people who do a lot of timing belts. Save you a lot of time.

I was pondering this morning trying to remember back. I think it is going to take a bit to get to the crank seal. On the outside you have the crank pulley for the accessory belts, which requires the holding tool above, but was able to slide off. Then you remove a cover that exposes the timing train. I think what you may be asking about is the timing belt drive pulley, which, IIRC is solid around the perimeter and would need to be removed to replace the crank seal on that side. :headscrat

I think you are talking about the sprocket the belt ride on. That don't require a puller also. Should just come right out.

In order to change the camshaft seal, the camshaft pulley or sprocket need to be removed. You need a tool to hold the pulley while removing the bolt.

When installing new seal, make sure the coil spring inside the seal does not come out.
