So all I have to do is hook your trailer up to my truck to drive away with all of your stuff?

Thanks for the convenience. When do you go sleepys? :)

Bought an old one in 2008, gutted, installed ramp door in rear, and moved once with it, then moved my daughter with it. Then moved 2 loads of stuff from storage to new home. Last load is still stored in the trailer. Look closely in the one picture and you can see the boxes through the front window. Paid for itself in avoided truck rentals! Long term goal is to strip and turn it into a flatbed. Not the best pictures, but they are what they are......

Sounds to me that you are WAY overdue at being a country boy. I would look for about five acres out in the country with no stipulations on it, and set a nice repo doublewide on it. Less a threat of thieves if it is far enough off the road and hidden by woods. Now is a great time to buy real estate, but a lousy time to sell. Here, we are three miles off a main road with cow pastures all around us. We are very fortunate to have Minnonites all around us and they are GREAT people! They completely mind their own business and are quick to help you anytime. We can put a one-eyed mule in our front yard and nobody cares!

Unfortunately I am a light sleeper...

That is where I grew up. Guess I never grew out of it either. The plan is to get back there some day.

I thought about that as well to allow me to get the motorcycle out of the garage. Any pics of the back?

Fortunately, this is one of the LAST guys you would have to worry about. We have alot of Chicagoians that have moved down here to Tennessee and they are all gruff and coarse. I was a cop for 12 years and everyone of them are good friends. Chicago is a tuff town that breeds tough people. When I served in Iraq, one of my friends from there said: "Hell, this is a vacation!" They don't realize how well they make good hillbillies as well, with old junk cars in their back yards and chickens running around in the front. You just have to learn how to take them right off to bat. Frank just gave you a warning shot.

No offense taken. Dry is my sense of humor of choice!

Well instead of decreasing the cost I added today in anticipation of making a car trailer out of what is left. Picked up these...

Should make perfect rails for the car trailer and simplify the build.

Another project once the Ghia is done.

Well it has been a while. I was making more room last weekend and took out the bathroom. Popped it on Craigslist and $50 later the total investment is down to $1. Hopefully it will turn positive when I recycle the aluminum and copper.

I can’t believe it has been almost 6 years since I last posted. Since then we have built a new house and moved. The trailer served a temporary storage while we sold the house. The last two years it was a haunted house for Halloween. It finally met its end today and started the journey to car trailer.

Outstanding. That came apart with minimal effort from the tractor, looks like you idled it out. Are you going to continue posting on the car trailer build in this thread?

My defination of intelligence is "the ability to solve problems" you have solved yours very well and when it is done maybe at a profit. Seems smart to me!!!
I like your signature.: I am trustworthy, loyal, and helpful. But I struggle with obedient It fits the description of a now deceased friend. He ate dog food. We tried to warn him, but he continued to eat the stuff. One day he was laying on the couch and watching the Super Bowl. He felt the urge to lick his scrotum, he fell off the couch and broke his neck.
