I'm building a small bridge crane for my shop using repurposed steel I beams and would like to know what I'm dealing with as far as weight goes per foot. I've found charts that are close in sizes but are not dead on. They are 9" in deep with flanges of 4 3/8" & 1/4" thick. I appreciate any and all help.

That is not an uncommon question, suggest you call your local steel supply . My last purchase of an I beam the invoice included the weight per foot.

Get a Machinery's Handbook, any used bookstore for 5$.
Has tables of WPF of all shapes, AND what beams will hold, tensile strength, and much more info.
