I have a six foot wide storage cabinet I use for a workbench. It has been ok, but I wanted something better. It needed to be a decent height, 40'ish inches, plus the depth, more is better, and looking for something wider than the 72 inches I have now. I looked around and a few stores had something close but maybe a bit too high, or the depth was a bit short. I considered two 42 inch boxes from Harbor Freight but the US General boxes have this silly plastic latch I would see failing in time, plus they were close to 42 inches tall. By the time I tossed a counter top over them it was taller than I liked, plus 20 or 22 inches deep, I forget.

Home Depot has a 84 inch wide box with a wood "cutting board" top that is Just under 39 inches high and 24 inches deep, fits my requirements fairly well. Plus all drawers. Some had a door to toss items in, and I prefer drawers.

The Home Depot box was out of stock every where, but you can drop in your e-mail address and they let you know when it shows up in stock, and it did they outer day. I got looking to order it and preferred to ship it to the store. My local store has some weird inventory glitch and the internet store won't let me do that. I looked at a store 50 miles away and can ship it there, but one weird deal. At the local store the price comes up at $1235. At every other store it comes up at $1598!! I thought about stopping in the store to see what was going on but them figured the price would get adjusted, so I just ordered if for home delivery for and extra $55 charge. The figure the $300+ savings will be worth it!
I ordered it, they accepted my order with the lower price and tracking shows it is on the way. Now, what are the chances it shows up without damage??!!

I like those husky heavy duty boxes and was about to buy the same one when I caught a deal on a used matco. Hope it serves you well

I ordered a few boxes from HD for home delivery but didn’t have good luck due to damage. i found it easier to ship to store and open it there. They get to see the damage first hand, I don’t have to deal with the return (if damaged) or the packing material (if not damaged).

Pretty much one big reason I wanted ship to store.

Also, I have a small utility trailer that would roll the box right into the garage. Delivery might be at the end of the driveway, and I will have to figure out how to get a 600 box to the garage. (Probably strip it where it lays!)
