Yep, and seeing this type of abuse is one of my pet peeves. I used a socket to drive something in place. I was hooking up a 3 ph bush hog to a tractor that had weathered lift arms and the bush hog pins were weathered too. Difficult to slide the hitch points together. In addition, the tractor has category II hitch arms and the cutter has category I hitch pins, so i use bushings to makeup the difference. They didn't slide together on one side so I used a 1 inch deep Craftsman(US made)to drive the bushing it. Just took a few taps and I used a rubber hammer so I hope the tool gods will forgive me.
