That is an American Scale. Does it say Red Seal on the other side like mine?

Don’t worry about that tiny space. That is common. If you plan to spiff it up, you can put some filler in that space and then reinstall the jaws, let the filler harden and then remove the jaws, paint, and once again install the jaws. Would I do that?… NO.

On the one I have, pictured above, I received new custom made replacement jaws with the vise.
