I have been a member for awhile, decided that before I posted too much I would go through all the threads in the general tool area. I didn't want the dreaded this has been covered _____ (fill the blank) times. Now, 3 months later I have reached the last thread #1058, I have learned a lot and hope that I can contribute to a great forum that has come to be my first read before anything.

 To all the great contributors. Thank you

Congratulations on your accomplishment!!! Did you notice that most of the authors have been gone awhile? I'm sure some of the threads were informative while others beat dead horse until they were ready for the glue factory...

haha welcome. Now, let's do a re-cap of what you've learned :bounce:
Welcome!!!

I just looked back at a few pages from 2005. Is that when this place set sail??? Pretty cool to see what was first talked about. Maybe in 2015, we'll all still be on here and can look back & have all the new people look back in the same way.

Just don't sticky it as a requirement though!

Thanks everyone, try to answer a few of the questions; what did I learn (this is the closest that I will get to a test at my age Mickey O:thumbup:) the battle between country of origin will never stop, I marked the how to rebuild a ratchet thread, Hi ball is the man when it comes to floor jacks and hydraulics, that Chadster and MrShaun are a credit not just to snap on but is an example of how businesses should be run, (take care of the customer, the stuff you did to get that guy his ratchet was awesome). MK is a photographer and even a canon shooter  That if you ask a question around here most everyone will try to help you.

Quote from mk "Fedwrench what is RLL" You are not ready for the test. You would have missed the first question. You will get razed here by the way:beer:

Yeah I know I will get razed that is all good. Red Lube of Love, I forgot about that, from the way Merk talks it's the best thing next to sliced bread. I found out that my old tools are a lot better than I thought. A mix of proto, craftsman, s-k, some snap-on, armstrong, cornwell, gearwrench and some others. Some other things learned is evaporust works great, (it does, had to try it) :thumbup:What works and dosen't work from HR, ( I know, I know)
