i asked the mods if i could make one post about this...

i run a shop called R&R Tool Repair. we repair ALL air tools no matter what the brand.we can get your tools fixed for you even if you have been told there are no parts available . all estimates are free and repair prices are very reasonable. we have a huge inventory of parts and offer quick turnaround. the pics on the site are pretty old, we just moved into our new building about 8 months ago. here's the web site

http://www.fixthattool.com

thanks. John

**edit** we now rebuild battery packs, all brands/voltage

*edit* we can also repair industrial air tools

*edit* i just spoke with the owner. if you send a tool in for repair, mention your from the garage journal and he will give a 10% discount on repairs but NOT parts.

wow, that's quite a pile of tools.the mac and ir stuff is no problem. can't see the make on some of the pics. the cheap stuff isn't worth it in my opinion. cost would depend on whats missing and condition of whats there. our number is on the web site if you want to call, can give you more info / options over the phone.

Since you know your stuff. How is the build quality of lets say your inexpensive Devilbliss air ratchet vs a good IR?

How's the repair work been on the Coleman /Powermate equipment? Didn't the go through bankruptcy here recently?
Also, how has it been to deal with SK? There's been alot of talk here recently about thier new warranty policy.

Looks like your parts list link isn't working...

i've only worked on one, changed the head kit in it. built alright but doesn't put out near the power of the ir's or snap on

I'm out of town right now,but when I get back next week,I'll have some buisness for you.
great, thanks :)

i got a couple of old staple guns any hope ?
sure. send them in, no charge for an estimate

for SK,the hand tool line and the air tool line are different divisions with different warranty centers.so far we haven't had any warranty work from them but they were easy to deal with on the phone when we got set up for work.for the coleman i don't know. the owner handles all the warranty paperwork.

How about framing nailers? I got a couple of old Hitachi nailers that could use a refresh...
we do alot of nailers for the local builders

do you sell the parts for us to fix our own tools?
sure do. as you can see above, some of the links don't work right now. just email or call with the model your working on and we can get you the parts.
