Sorry about not adding any info got busy with something.

I just added the primer here, instructions say to let it dry over night. My garage is 480 sq ft and I only used under 4 quarts mixed with A and B part and I have a little under half of the gallons left. My first mix was about 2 quarts which covered about half of the garage it went down pretty easy until it started to dry out in the bucket. It took me two mixes and about an hour to finish. Pretty happy with the first stage cant wait till tomorrow when i apply the epoxy and flake.

Wow, that is amazing. Nice work on getting it cleaned out. Excited to see what the finished floor looks like. Have to admit the primer almost matched the wall color.

I know its hard to see but i applied the clear coat today. It was a pain in the rear trying to keep track of where i had already coated. Really happy the way it turned out cant wait for it to dry so i can start bringing in my stuff.

Ya looks great! Mind if I ask what all that cost?

The most expensive stuff was the epoxy that ran me $799 from Armorpoxy. All the other stuff just starts to add up but I dont think I spent more than $150 on other material. I only used 3 sheets of drywall some drywall tape, mud and paint that i got on special at Homedepot 4 gallons for $30. I really didn’t keep track of my expenses but Ill say $1100 and thats probably on the high side.

It looks great! I often find myself waffling on putting epoxy down on the floor since I hear a lot of horror stories.

Great job on getting the garage fixed up and looking good.

Looks like an excellent space for working on cars now and any other bits and bobs that you end up doing.

And fair play for opening up about the alcohol and depression. Takes a big man to admit when things aren't 100% and to do something about it.

Ive come to believe that the horror stories come from those that skip steps or disregard the instructions of just dont follow the correctly. I cant say to much about it because I’ve only finished mine almost a week ago. I did find it difficult to use the squeegee to apply it but instead of wasting time trying to get it right i immediately switched over to using a roller. I think that using the squeegee would of given me a way better effect I still like the way it came out with a roller.

So you shouldn’t let someone else’s experiences stop you from getting a kick *** garage floor.

The space is great! I cant believe how long it took me to actually make my garage in to some thing i can work in. Cant wait to start cranking out some projects.

Thanks for the kind words, I finally figured out to just take things one day at a time and to try to actually figure it out instead of looking really hard for the answers at the bottom of a bottle. Don’t get me wrong i still enjoy drinking beers but I’m not dinking them looking for answers any more.

So what is next. Bench, tool box, dont stop now dude.

Not done yet Harley, next is getting things organized we’re getting a little rain here in Los Angeles so i had to bring in all the stuff i had laying outside. Now i just have to organize them. After that Ill put in the door, then Finish the wall repair then a bench. Just gotta keep busy and get it finished.
