I found 2 tools, what are they?

I just had a massive tool haul and there were a lot of misc unusual pieces mixed in with what I got. This is, undoubtedly, the first of a few posts I'll be putting up in the next few weeks as I find time to go through the stuff, snap pics, and then ask for help if I can't find info on the net about the stuff.
First pic came out of a machinist chest, no identifying marks other than each size had the thread size/pitch stamped on the casing. I suspect maybe home made and I'm thinking, because of the little "******" on each that perhaps they are for punching guide marks to match a threaded hole location to another piece?

Second tool is just a little screwdriver with pivoting head. Push button on the side to unlock/swivel it. Nothing too special, but the only marking is "No 25" on the handle. The handle is bakelite and the end cap opens to reveal a set of bits. I'm thinking it's old because the bits are not standard 1/4' hex. Entire driver is maybe 5" long.

Not looking to sell, just always interested in learning the history of the unique stuff I find. Thanks!

I bought a 1/4 drive socket driver version recently, and found some of the sockets just last week.

The name was worn off mine too.

Formerly made by Heimann, RIP. When I first heard of Heimann, I was astonished such a niche manufacturer managed to stay in business against Chinese competition (eg HHIP). Alas, my astonishment ended a few months later.

The ones McMaster currently has are from AMPG, and actually finished a bit nicer than the Heimann product. The Heimanns appear to be handstamped.

Not pretty, but here is the handle I reunited with 4 out of its 5 sockets last week that I found in a bin of sockets. Missing the end cap unfortunately.

These Hallowell tools tend to get categorized in the "novelty" bucket along with other midget tools, such as the popular G M Co driver (where the sockets not in use were cleverly stored on the shank between the drive end and the handle), but Standard Pressed Steel was a huge, legit toolmaker. They made the UNBRAKO line of hex (colloquial "Allen") keys, to name one example.

EDIT: Nice find, Bare. I've seen 3Bay's before and he already knows I admire it!

I knew you guys would know! Apparently it's on the rare side since, even with the name, I can't find much info on them on the net. This one is complete, as far as I can tell, with all the bits in the handle. It was a little rusty when I got it, but a dip in evapo-rust and some ATF to lube it up has it working like new again.
Of course, now that you all mentioned it I can see more writing on the handle that I just couldn't make out before. Oddly enough, I can see the "no 25" on the handle in the picture better than I could see it holding it in my hand.

I'm not looking to sell it, but it's just going to sit in my box. If anyone out there is looking for one to complete a long-sought set or something, drop me a PM. Unfortunately, no sockets with this one 454 - but I'll keep an eye out.

My dad used one of these as his main socket tool in the 60's. I have it and a few Halowell sockets. The handle cracked and I fixed it with JB weld.
