Alright. I already posted this in some other threads, but screw it, I'm excited and I feel like showing off my new box.
KRL-1033. Electric Orange.
I love the box. The attention to detail really is amazing. I'm impressed and it's a huge jump in quality over my old HF 42 inch box.
Now, please keep the SO hate to a minimum here. I understand that some people don't like these expensive boxes, and that some folks would never spend as much money as I did on this box, but I did and I love it.
Here are my pics from today when I unboxed it and transferred tools. I'll be posting more pics later.

Nice box. Really nice upgrade. Now all it needs is 2 brown and one white strip down the middle. LOL. Oh and I'm sure someone will chime in with you should have bought the HF 72" or 2 of them. It always happens even if you dont want one.

Not gonna loose that box odd question do they ship boxes that big on a pallet?

Ya, it came on a pallet. I lifted it off the pallet with a forklift (CAREFULLY),
and then I realized that the pallet is designed so you can unbolt the part securing the wheels on one side and use the included ramp to get it out.

Very Nice, I have currently have HF 44" and while it is a very serviceable box, I can't blame you for upgrading/expanding.

That snap on box is SWEEEEEEEET:drool:

So.. what you doing with the old box? I'm close enough if the price is right lol.

Btw, that box is awful, stupid and down right impractical lol. Just teasing cause its not mine. Those top drawers look amazing.

My driver gave me 500 bucks on trade in for the old HF box. I was gonna sell it to a coworker that wanted it (he's seen me wax and clean it and he knows I take care of my stuff), but then my driver was like, 500 trade in, and I said ok, done. :lol_hitti

What company name? Petro?

Welcome to the 72" drawer club ... I prefer the KRL's over the epiq's because of this very model.

Ya. I'm loving the big drawers. I wasn't sure I was gonna like them, but then when I felt how sturdy and smooth they are, even when loaded (especially when loaded), I've converted to the huge drawer religion.

Mine was delivered by one of those big freight companies. I was like, I'll get my buddies and we'll unload this beast, and the driver was like, dude you're gonna need a forklift. He wasn't kidding.

I figured that out while uncrating mine, and went "well that's silly, why would I roll it down this cardboard ramp? I have a forklift." :lol_hitti

Nice box, even if it's not extreme green. I ended up with a red box, so I got no room to talk. The side by side shot is great, really puts it in perspective.

Yeah very nice. As with many, it's my fav triple.

Am gonna upgrade to a 7022 double then to one of these although I don't think I can get a one piece insert for the big draws. 20yr time I might be in a 'MR BIG'

Beautiful Box, Congratulations! Since I'm in Semi-Retirement, my Snap-On and Mac Tool boxes age is 29 to 38 years, are not going to be upgraded, unless I win the lottery. Then I would probably purchase a Mr. Big box with Side Lockers and a Top Box.

I want an Orange snap on krl or epiq really bad. Then I will put brown and white stripes down the middle. Make it look like a giant Browns helmet. LOL. Very nice box you have there. And if any HF fan boys POP up in this thread just ignore them. It's just jealousy. Trust me its almost a given. Any thread about anything snap on they will come out like roaches.

Lol I've kinda started to see that trend here on GJ...
I honestly always thought I was going to get a yellow box, but then when I saw an orange one, I changed my mind. I kinda fell in love with the color.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

I purchased a red 68" epiq box a year ago I know they are expensive but I'm at work 9-11 hours a day 5 days a week if I want something nice in getting it. If it's within reason anyway. How much was the box anyway I got mine for half off. $5088 said and done. I want to add a rink top to it. I love the look of the hutch and side locker as well. But I don't need the hutch and it seems kind of restrictive space wise so I may never go that route. My boss has a hitch so that's what I'm basing my opinion on.

Anyway the orange, yellow and white boxes always look freaking amazing. Nice score man. I like the flat black boxes to but my boss has a black box and it's always dirty no matter how much he cleans it.

Said and done, I got this box for $5150. When he told me the price initially I was like, that's a Classic series, right? And he said, no, it's a KRL-1033. I said sign me up! :willy_nil.

See I feel the exact same way you do. I work 8-10 hour days five days a week, and I like my tools. It's nice to have a big box with space to arrange things the way I want, space to grow, and know that it's well built enough to be with my for my whole career.
