I finally got my lift started. Columns are up plumb and anchored along with the top cross piece.
:rocker:
It only took 6 months to get this far. I wonder how long till I can change my oil.

Great work man! I can't wait to get my shop to a place that I can pull the trigger on that order. . . I so badly want to do it right now but those giant columns would just be in my way. . .

Congratulations but I'm troubled by some of this.
1) If this has been up for more than 4 hours, you really should seek immediate medical help.

2) Six months to get it up? I can see why you might not want to enjoy it for a while and not seek option 1

You really should have seen a doctor after 4 hours. Great job.

Was it your Special purpose?

It's a small storage area in the back corner of the garage that I was not officially allowed to build on. Optimising my space is something I specialize in.
