Hey guys, live in Missouri where the weather can turn on a dime..anyways im having my concrete floor poured tomorrow am. High of 75 but a low is 30. Of course the one day I have it scheduled to pour, Monday night will be the lowest this week:sad:..every day this week temperature wise will be in 60's and lows will be 40s-50s..EXCEPT MONDAY NITE. Will i be ok guys?? Hoping things work out..Thanks in advance fellas...

If you're referring to those heated blankets I dont have any, nor would i be able to afford one..lol..what would you cover it with?

If I understand correctly, the lowest temp you'll get is 30 degrees the night of the placement. If so, your probably fine. 30 degrees isn't low enough to cause the concrete to freeze. If you could locate some concrete blankets, it wouldn't hurt to throw them on but a layer of poly would probably suffice.

Temps that low will however slow down the set time considerably. With day time highs in the 70's, your finisher should have time to get a decent finish before it cools off. If not, he could be in for a long night.

I wouldn't use a space heater. The carbon dioxide from unvented heaters can cause carbonization, results in a chalky surface. Good luck with your placement.
