No longer available, not in my 2010 catalogue, but i would guess it would be about $500-650 new. (Here in Europe.) As it is now? $300-375. maybe.

I'd pay $300 if I needed such a set (and maybe if I had some $ lying around - because I think it's cool). I doubt he'll get more for it.

However, I wouldn't pay any more for the equivalent Snap-on set, so...

Yeah I wrote him with an offer of $150 just to insult the **** outta him. He told me that they were the finest German tools, "I can accept no less than $1200" and I laughed right back.
