After many days of reading and after continually being impressed with the level of detail and attention given to older tools, I decided to register. There is information and an enthusiasm here I'm not sure I've encountered in any other forum.
Due to some life changes, I'm in the process of reworking my garage/shop and hope to have things in order within the next few weeks. Mechanically, I focus almost exclusively on 1966-76 Ford Broncos, but am also involved with numerous light metalwork and wood furniture restoration projects.
I have a particular interest in 1920s-60s American made power tools and try to save as many from the scrap yards as possible. What I don't know much about are hand tools from that era and am hoping I may find a new world of appreciation here.
