There was a post here quite a long time ago claiming information that those boxes came out of Asia. I don't know the truth. However, I have found that Beta does not put a COO on anything. (I have picked up a number of items from the Amazon closeout.)

I grabbed a couple of sockets 1/2" drive metrics on Amazon closeout too to fill out a couple of sets. There was no COO in the sockets or the packaging.

Sadly, I can only think of one reason for that.

Nope.

The only reason for that is the rest of the world (ROW) does not require a COO on it's goods nor packaging by law, only the USA does ( and possibly Canada) as far as I am aware of.

BETA has a limited presence in the USA with most of it's distributors and sellers in Europe (oops, and the UK--just for Moose-LOL), so you might want to call or send an e-mail to their California based reps./showroom to find out. With three factories in Italy i gave them the benefit of the doubt especially with their long running partnership with Scuderia Ferrari.

At that price it's hard to believe is not Asian sourced, but you never know.

I bought a few screwdrivers and some pliers on Amazon's sale. No COO anywhere. In my rather limited experience that seems odd, as the German, Spanish, French, and even Chech-made tools are marked as such. Given Beta's relationship with Ferrari, why not shout the COO from the rooftops? It's a value-added item that directly ties into something more exotic and desirable. Win-win. On a personal level, if the tools were made in China, I'd literally feel cheated.

In my personal opinion, beta tools are great
i use them daily, fixing large trucks and trailers, never broke a ratchet, socket (including impacts and torx/hex bits), scredriver or anything come to metion it.
The spanners are great quality too, both the full chrome polished finish and the standard finish, there is absolutley no give in the jaws and they dont seem to round off fasteners.
the customer service is also great.

Well Stuey has a bigger one. Maybe they are labeled. I will ping him.

I've looked all over but cannot find a label of any kind.

I don't recall if the crate had COO information when it arrived, but I don't think it did. I checked a few of the random tools I picked up, and none of them have any COO info either.

One thing I can say is that after I recieved the roll-away, I immediately regretted never picking up one of the cantilever hand boxes from Amazon when I had the chance.

I'm a big fan of Beta, COO markings or not. Everything has been excellent with no issues. Gotta love Amazon for these deals.

Beta has some pretty unique tools, and really emphasize their Italian heritage with their sponsorship and partnerships with Ferrari, Formula 1, and other racing endeavors.

I've been rather ambivalent though with the few Beta tools I've ordered off of Amazon, just to try out. I certainly wouldn't consider them in the premium tool category, not that they necessarily need to be.

I know a few people who've picked up their large roller tool chests and have been exceptionally disappointed with the quality though FWIW.

Some of the tools I purchases were a bit dispapointing, most notably a pair of pliers and the sliding T-handle hex wrenches. I felt that the QC and consistency of those tools were lacking.

As mentioned, I have one of the large 7-drawer roller cabinets and absolutely LOVE it, especially for what it cost me. :willy_nil:willy_nil

I have their cantilever toolbox and it is very nice - just as good as my Hazet. I don't know where it was made, but the quality is very good.

I would suggest to anyone living in the Southern California/Long Beach area to visit their showroom and pick up one of their catalogs. It's just a big book of eye candy.

To me....I love orange and their tool cabinets are ****, especially their tanker roller cabinet and I forget the name of their wall cabinet featured in the movie "The Transporter" with the roll up door.
