Those of you that might not know I am a sales representative for tool manufacturers...so all I do is travel and do sales calls....well going into one of my customers I was advising them I am looking for a good quality 1/2 drive sockets and ratchet....well looking around I saw he had a 15" SK Tuff 1 ratchet....asked him the price and he said I could have it...just like that.....this is a great ratchet...and I love dealing with my customers and getting free stuff like this because of the service I give to them.....so now all I need is some sockets hahahaaa

Nice... But pick up a 10 inch version too... the long ones are a bit cumbersome to use. You have to let me know how the thing performs. Id like to get one of those tuff 1 ratchets.

Now if only someone would give me a full set of 1/2 sockets hahahaa

I really like the SK stuff. I had a good laugh today when I stopped by a garage sale on the way home from work. Guy had a bin of various tools for sale, mostly Craftsman and Taiwan, but I was able to find an SK ratchet wrench (5/8-3/4) -like new- and two 3/8 drive SK 6-pt sockets (1/2 & can't remember). Guy wanted $4 total, I offer $2 and we settled on $3 because he says "If they were Craftsman I wouldn't have come down, but they're only SK". The general public doesn't know the SK quality and I find these at garage sales all the time for cheap because they view them as being less than Craftsman and just above Taiwan.

You are so right...its sad the general population doesnt really know the quality of SK stuff.....I mean its not that hard to realize that the sockets are chrome compared to Sears polished sockets.....and the weight of the steel in comparison....also the hardness comparisons....the SK is all around better...and not much more exspensive

And sorry Jonkav...I am stingy I dont share any wealth....my father taught me well hahahaaaa

He didn't teach you that you share with the less fortunate? To give until it hurts? ;)
