I used a piece of 3" angle iron to make a bracket to mount the A/C compressor to the 460 in my 1960 F100

Nice! What did you use to smooth out the fillet welds? A corner flap disc on an angle grinder or something else?

Thanks guys. Yes a flap wheel. Today I finished the much smaller Alternator bracket. Its another piece of angle iron. I added the wing for additional strength

Nice job, but this is the sort of post that calls for at least a few pics of the process!

Its so simple that I didnt think of taking pictures. On the A/C bracket, I cut off a piece of the angle iron and turned it sideways and welded it back on. Then trimmed the excess off of the angle, added some curves and holes. Its so easy that I can do it :)

When I read the title, I though, "A bracket, who hasn't?" But then I saw the picture and let's just say that your bracket kicks the asses of my brackets so hard that they turn into a fine mist upon impact! Nicely done, sir!
