Very enjoyable. Your thread is so long, I will just ask here what stereo you have in the garage?

Thanks for sharing this with us.

Ditto on what Dave said...I watched the whole video.
You touched on a philosophy I like to do in my garage.
A place for everything.
Putting away everything after a project is complete...is a chore no one want to do.
We get the immediate gratification that the project is done and we leave the mess.
I started planning on a clean up time also, and take that into account when I plan a project.
The enclosed shelving and spaces are nice and I too now have a shed for the garden stuff.
All and all, I like the philosophy you apply in working a project in your "tool".

Very nice set up, I love the cabinets. I have similar philosophy's on shop set ups.

Mu question is did you really do a 1:26 in that car at Willow? Thats pretty freakin fast for a street car!

Wha I really like about this video is it shows the 12 Gauge Garage is not just a showplace, but a place where, work, repairs and creation occurs.

Jack - will you come to Alabama and design my garage interior for me?

Excellent job and my hat is off to you for your vision in how you wanted your garage to work for you..

Well Done Jack. Hard to say how many guys I've talk about your garage and pointed them to articles, posts, etc. Now I have a video I can share.

Thanks!

Yes. And that's on the same tires I drove to the track on, and that I run for over a year at a time, road and track. It's a pretty good time for a sub-300hp over-2500-lb car at that track. Faster than a pro driver in the 475-hp 991 GT3 (but just barely).

Great video Jack! I guess I've seen all the posts, videos, and articles on that place and still I find it interesting. The best compliment I can come up with on the video is that I really didn't think about it at all, just got lost as usual in the coolness of your garage and your commentary on it's use and design. I particularly like the notion that the place itself is a tool for certain functions.

Very well done, sir!
I have admired your shop and it's layout for some time, nice to get a video tour.
My favorite? The COMPLIANCE TABLE! I need to build one!
Thanks for the tour!

Very nice video...

I am just starting to redo my garage for some organization, and I will be using some of your ideals. Ultimately though, mines going to have more storage & less workspace. Not by choice though.

Jack, thank you so much for sharing what is the motivation behind what is the 12 Gauge Garage:bowdown:

We can all take so much away from your presentation as it puts into a real perspective..

Always been a fan of the garage and I appreciate the video.

Have you shared your writing space? I'm always fascinated with writing setups.
