I had some free time today so I decided to clean and organize my tops boxes. While doing that, I decided to organize my ratchets. I also decided to service and lube my ratchets since a couple of the mechanisms started getting a little sticky. I had no idea how many ratchets I've collected throughout the years. I think I may have a problem collecting these things! Haha

You do have a problem...looks like most of those are Craftsman raised panels. There is a whole other world out there, so to speak.

Your ratchet problem is that I can see the drawer liner in that ratchet drawer. You should be able to fit 2 or 3x as many in there!

The problem is you don't have a ratchet with some leverage, no flex heads, no rotator head. I am surprised you can get anything done. Now you know what to tell your wife when she asks what you want for Christmas. LOL:evil::lol_hitti

That's a good idea. I've never had the need for a flex head but there have been times where a flex head would have made my work quicker.

A lot of us here do....

These are Sears/Craftsman teardrop ratchets from the late 1950s to the early 1970s.

Awesome collection! I really like that era of craftsman ratchets because I remember seeing my dad use them quite a bit when I was a kid.

Thanks. Here’s another drawer..... these date between the early/mid 1970s to about 1993.

If the problem persists for over four hours... get more tool storage...

My opinion... you have nothing to worry about till you have 6 times that many ratchets... then you need to say...

WHAT HAVE I DONE ?!?!?!?

I guess I could use a few more grey and red Craftsman boxes? Haha

Nice starter set of towers... think you need 12 towers before you break a record here...

Search wall of craftsman...

I love my three towers... newer generation than yours tho... red with dark grey drawers...

All total... I have something like 72 drawers...

Your problem is that you don't have enough ratchets. I was in Kansas City earlier this month, wnt to HJE and adopted a new SK model 80200, 3/8 drive 90 tooth ratchet, for no other reason than I wanted it. Nice tool.

Good god! 12 towers? That would be awesome if I had room!

Haha. Fitting indeed!

Thanks, I keep finding them for not too much money. Beats all the new junk craftsman is putting out currently and for a lot less money.
