I need a air hose reel

Any advice on an air hose reel for garage use? I have an old Husky oilless compressor that I can wheel around, so I'd likely put a port on the wall to pressurize the reel. For length, 50 feet will be enough, and the temp ranges will be 10 to 90 F. Usage will be mostly impact driver, blower, air ratchet, inflators, so 3/8 should be OK. A wall mount with spring return is what I'd want.

Suggestions?

I'm perfectly happy with a cheap one I bought for $40. The good brand name ones are insanely expensive. I use the **** out of mine.

Yeah, some are very pricy, but being a weekend warrior with light usage, I figure $60 is the upper limit. Is HF a good place to get these?

I saw the HF reel had a $60 coupon recently. I'm tempted too since recoiling the hose by hand is a pain. The only downside with the HF reel is the hose is reputed to leak after a year or two. A new quality hose is $20-30.

There has been some pretty good sales on affordable air hose reels at NorthernTool.com

Be sure to also get additional coupon at RetailMeNot.com

Honestly, I think I spent more time trying to get enough hose out of a 50' return spring type hose reel, getting it to lock in the right spot, and getting it to retract fully than I spend manually rewinding my 100' FlexZilla reel.

I've got one of the Northern Tool hose reels and it's been going strong for 14 years and two hoses. I think it was 80 bucks when I bought it.

My roommate and I both have old HF ones and we put 50 ft 3/8 flexzilla on them. Work great. No complaints.

I love buying quality but I just don't understand what a more expensive one would do that this one doesn't. I have not owned a more expensive one so maybe someone else can weigh in.

I have had the 50ft HF one with the original hose mounted in my garage for over 5 years now. I haven't had any issues or leaks. Gets used quite a bit.

Cox, Reelcraft, Hannay are all good industrial brands.

Hannay is based outside of Albany if you'd like to spend $$$ and keep it local

My wife and kids got me a Tekton reel a feweek years back. After about 10 months the air hose split by the quick connect fitting. I sent an email. I had a new heavy duty air hose on my front porch in 3 days. The reel i got did not come with the heavy duty hose so that was nice. They also sent a email apologizing for the inconvenience and thanking me for using their product. Top notch customer service.
