I Need a Better Lockstrip Tool

I have installed a few lockstrips into BMW 2002 and 1600 windshields and everyone of them has been unnecessarily difficult based on the worthlessness of this common lockstrip tool:

The problem lies in the inside of the tool. It scrapes and gouges the lockstrip, leaving marks along it.

I have seen videos of BMW technicians using this style:

The roller and bent wire configuration would work perfectly, but I have no idea where to find such a tool. Does anyone know where I might find a lockstrip tool of similar design (since the BMW tool is unavailable)?

I just ordered exactly that one, though from Aegis tools. I'll report back on it's performance.

Go see your closest Safelite dealer and ask them where they get theirs. I had a guy do the windshield on my old Jag a while back and he had a tool like that too - worked a treat and was fast!
