Can some one be my stalker?

Just kidding. No really. Get away from my house....

ANYWAYS...

I want to buy a better lie down creeper. Can you recommend me one (pics or link too please)? Biggest concern is height - the lower the better. Good casters would be sweet. Comfort is a distant 3rd or fourth concern (basically, as long as it isnt a bed of nails I'm good). Tool trays would be a neat gimmick.

The one on Snap On's site that I like the most (that has a picture - wtf can they not have pictures for all of their items?) is item JCP38.

http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=shop&item_ID=72675&group_ID=1089&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog

My problem with that particular one is that the shoulder area has a bucket but the remainder is flat - doesn't that raise your body up another unnecessary inch? The head rest also does not look recessed.

This one from harbor freight so far has my favorite design - I have tried to buy this from the local store multiple times but they are always out of stock.

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=67449

The full bucket effect with tool trays looks great and it has a recessed head rest.

I'm willing to spend up to 100$ for a good one - so - what's your favorite lie down creeper?

Extra credit : pictures of creepers that have gas engines attached to them that somehow drive the wheels.

I've got four here at the house. The latest is a molded MAC creeper/6wheel. I use mostly two plywood jobs 40+ years old (a Lisle and a SO) that I have rebuilt. Just for conversation or use, I have a very old Brookins metal pan creeper that I also enjoy.
If I were a little younger(64), I would invest in a two or four post lift and park the creepers.

I have a Strap-on JCW65R.

Cost an arm and a leg, and i had to adjust the headrest (it was on pissed) and the headrest mechanicsm (it was stiff, and a pain) but having done that it's perfect. Very comfortable, as it's memory foam or something. The headrest makes a HUGE difference, and has saved me a lot of neck and back pain.

For what it cost, i shouldn't have had to f**k around adjusting it, but having done so it's perfect for me. In fact, it's so damn comfy i almost fell asleep on it today..

Depends on the kind of work you plan on doing.

I've got several, but of the two at work, I use the narrow 6 wheeled Snap-on more than the heavy duty 4 wheeled Snap-on. The heavy duty creepers won't fit inbetween the rear wheels on a heavy truck (most trucks) but they are tough. Mine has been ran over and straightened back out.

I've been curious about the round tube Blue point creepers. Anybody have one?

I'm 6'1 about 220 lbs. I have the Silver Eagle SEC6 that I bought from my Matco rep. It's has a steel fram, 6 wheels and the padding/frame has held up pretty good for the last 18 months use it everday @ work. But the wheels are starting to show wear, hence why I bought energy suspension hyper flex wheels to replace them with. Creeper was on sale for $49 when I bought it. Good luck on your choice.

On a side note... when I worked @ Sears we got a creeper that was marked "Matco" by accident; so if you see a Matco model you like (could save you some dough).... see if they sell it under the Craftsman brand... apparently they use the same OEM AFAIK.

A coworker has one, and I have used it a few times. It is better than my $50 cheapie, but it is no "bone" creeper. Those are probably my favorite.

I have the bone and like but I think it rolls to well and its kinda hard to get out of. I think it needs wheel locks and I want to put plates on the top of the wheels so I can slap a magnetic tray and a light on it. All in all though its a really nice unit. My shop floor has an expansion joint right were the motor is on just about everything and it rolls over that really well.

Thank you for all of the recommendations!

I have the HF one and love it. If you can't get it in the store, why not just order it?

That's easy - procrastination :)

I like my Bone creeper, but I got it mainly for easy rolling and comfort.

I've never heard of these - they look pretty cool though...

I actually like the lisle low profile creeper:

So I may end up getting that, I think it might be lower then the hf equivalent.

Thank you for the help!
