shipping frm almost anywhere is going to be 6 bucks, so unless you think you are going to find someone with an extra one just laying around and going to give it to you for free I would say 15 bucks is a decent deal.

You can try mcmaster, grainger, mcs, grizzly and see if you can find a generic knob with the same threads as the old one and see if it works.

If you don't care for authentisity make you one if you can. I had a old delta scroll saw I picked up that was missing the knobs. I found a bolt that would fit the thread I needed. I then cut the head off the bolt. I had a electrical knob off some old machine that had allen heads to tighten it. I then put it on the bolt and tightened it. It looks as good as original and works good as well.

Where do you live? If you are near central Oregon, come on by... I think this is what you are looking for. Dewalt sent me 2 knobs (for my DW703)... I only need one. I was wondering what I was going to do with it...of course, its been sitting on my bench for a year or so.

If it looks like this, you could probably get one at the Ace here in Tucson. There are also a couple of specialty (chain) fastener shops here as well. Where are you located?

Our Sears hardware has an extensive line of fasteners (they even have brushes for the electrical tools). i have seen those in the store. HD & Lowes selection is poor.
