So I am pretty determined to build my new shop from a metal kit exactly like "Mueller" offers. I am looking at ranges from 40X50X16 up to 50X80X16... I am happily upgrading from my old places 30X40X10 pole building structure so, i am making this one nice!

My problem is I really like all the Mueller examples I see here on GJ. But Mueller does not service my side of the continent.
Where/who do I contact for the same construction for pretty much dead central PA region??

PLEASE ANYONE, HELP ME OUT.

pictures of any buildings done by recommended supplier would be a bonus!
i am hoping to begin the build and be working in it this year.

TIA!

i dont know of any pole barn suppliers. What about just going to a metal roofing place and get supplies from them and wooden 6x6 from a lumber yard?

Maybe talking to a steel building contractor and they can maybe set you up? When i worked construction they dealt with nucore buildings. Alot of the building companies will probably only sell in the dealer network.

Thanks good luck

thanks Bricen18 for your input but, i don't want a "pole" style frame. i am interested in the solid steel framed I-beam like open span structure. my new location is more on a mountainside and more prone to rodents/insects... so all steel is the way to go.
my 30x40 was a "pole" barn construction built locally by a guy. he had done them many times and i think he had a source for the kit.it was nice and all, but i see greater potential in interior options with the all steel type frame.

for my new build, i am finding Olympia Steel Buildings popping up as a supplier, but I need to see if they are available for central PA. their website says they are out of Canada... not sure how that would work out. Anyone have a building from them an had it delivered and constructed in PA?

It's supplied by Olympia for their buildings.
http://www.olympiabuildings.com/

"Insulation
Olympia steel building offers three types of insulation: a vapor-lock composite insulation which consists of polyethylene air bubble pockets sandwiched between thick layers of reflective coating, a traditional WMP-VR fiberglass insulation which comes in a range of "R" values, and a premium insulation system designed to fit snugly between purlins to remain compression-free. This premium insulation package gives a finished look to the building's ceiling while providing the roof with a high insulation R-value of 40."

Where in PA are you? I'm looking at doing the same thing as soon as I sell my house. My wife gets to pick the house, I get a massive garage. I'm outside of Harrisburg and I have been unsuccessful at coming up with a good local supplier.

I am in Reedsville, just below State College about 20 miles.
VERY similar situation here too. Our old house is under contract. The new place has much more acreage, and a couple small buildings, but no large shop for me to play in.
I keep going back to this Olympia company as my primary. I have yet to hear back from them. I've only done the online quote request so far. I'll probably just call them soon. They offer everything from just the kit to fully assembled structure on site... whatever you need.

although they offer 25yr warranty and "General Steel" as linked above offers a 50yr warranty... Gensteel is a potential supplier as well. the site is less user friendly. probably have to call and go from there.

L. S .Fiore from Altoona Pa looks like a big time operation... probably too big for a residential type shop.

the altoona CL, looks like stamped lightwieght steel... i'm looking for solid H-beam.
thanks!
