I have a Bosch 1617, it might me a little too much for JUST making rabbets, but it's a great machine.
I need a router.

Thankfully the OP already bought a router...
Summary of thread: OP posted what he needed to do and that he was leaning toward a DeWALT router.
OP got recommendations for everything from a $15 Harbor Freight trim router to a $1000 table size Festool router. A table saw was also recommended.
