Just sorting some knurled sockets in my accumulation, and these had me stumped. All 1/2” drive.
The set of 5, are they Duro/Indestro or someone else?
And the single, with the worn mark, does that look familiar to any of you?
Thanks so much for your help!

Here are some early Snap-on I pulled out for comparison, @rdjohannes. I picked one on the far right with a very good SO monograph and a couple that are either worn or just not struck well. I could be wrong, but that's what your mark smacks of, for me. With the shape and knurling, I can't un-see it now. :)

Is there a size marking on the opposite side? Most SO are like that. I didn't take that pic, but all my early SO have the size stamped pretty much opposite from the SO monograph.

first two are not Duro/Indestro. group of five if they've got those dimples on each side of the size stamping are S-K, as Don notes just above.

Duro/Indestro used a very similar type of knurling, but did not stamp those dimples next to the size markings.

Funny timing - I was just out in the garage digging into boxes for a couple hours and came across bag after bag after bag of those old 1/2" drive D/I sockets.

Thank you all so much! All 5 have the dimples stamped on each side of the size, so they are early SK.

Thanks x2! The other mystery socket does have the size stamped on the opposite side, so it must be Snap-On. I live about 30 minutes from Kenosha, home of Snap-On, so vintage Snap-On shows up around here quite often.
I think Snap-On was still in Milwaukee when that socket would have been made.

 Frankly, it already pretty much had me convinced based on the shape, knurling, and partial or mis-stamped marking, but yeah, the size marking just seals it. Now you gotta get some more! :)

What RJ and Horse said. But no worries. If you're 30 minutes from Kenosha, you're also close to Old Dirtysuckee! So that one didn't travel too far. :) Vintage Snap-on shows up everywhere, though, especially in older industrial states. Heck, I'm in NJ and I found all my old Snap-on, including a bunch of orphan sockets, and this Motor Kit set, at flea markets here. Year after year after year the old timers pass away and their garages get cleared out. Pickers paradise!

I find quite a bit of it here in Oregon, also. There was a lot of manufacturing in Portland at one time, and the tools of the trades are still around.

Slight thread resurrection here, only a few months old, so not completely rotted away.

I've got this slightly unique socket, with the knurling, and no dots next to the size, but only the size stamped. And to make it a bit more unique, its a 1/2" drive socket, with a 6pt 5/16" opening. I remember a thread saying what the heck do you need a 7/16" in a 1/2" drive. Hold my beer!

Anyway, I think I found a the potential maker of this socket in this thread, with the early Indestro stuff noted above, and this catalog showing a 6 pt 5/16" in a 1/2" drive sets makes me think I'm correct, but I'd prefer some validation from those who know better.

And while we are talking potential Indestro, is this #3216 5.5" extension also an Indestro? Process of elimination based on number and length at 5.5" make me think so again. Found this number in the 1937 - 59 catalogs, but no discussion of the coating. This looks like rusty, but could have been a war finish I'm guessing, cutting down the potential age span.. Definitely not the chrome seen here upthread.

Thanks in advance.

Looks wartime to me. It’s the same as the one in my GMTK. During the war they often used Indestro numbers without any brand information.
