This motor is going on an old Sears/Homart fan. The shaft rotates clockwise, but I need to reverse it in order for the fan to pull air out of the room. I don't know much about wiring at all! Please help. Thanks.

It says right on the nameplate. Open the cover where the wire enters and switch the red and black on the terminals. Very easy unless the wires no long have color.

Cant you just turn the fan around so its blowing out instead of in?

I bet I looked at that sticker 5 + times. Stupid me. It goes in a window to **** the air outward. I have it in my garage window. I'll try to link a picture to the thread I started on this fan quite a while back. It ended up with the motor off one of my old Craftsman belt sanders until I can figure out how to re-wire the original motor with a switch.
