Hi folks, just curious if anyone has heard, tried or has Matco's Opti-Torque 12 point style impact sockets. I've been hearing really good things about their Opti-Torque wrenches. Removing rusted bolts that a Snap-On box end wont but not much about their Opti-Torque impact sockets. I'm trying to determine if I were to buy them for my 3/8 impact would it be a good Idea. The way I see it, If they would be good enough to use on a 6 point fastener or nut in medium torque impact applications of 300 ft. lbs. and less if that, then I see no point in purchasing a set of 6 point 3/8 impact socket set. I have a set a Matco's 1/2 in. 6 point deep impacts and a 6 point shallow universal joint set. The deep's I use for high torque applications of 300 ft. lbs. or more and the universals I use for the rest. I don't have a 3/8 impact set and space is limited so I don't want to get a 3/8 in. 6 point set If I don't have to. Any tips?
Thank you
This is the set that I'm thinking about purchasing
