I have had the regular old Craftsman screwdrivers for 30+ years. They come in tons of sizes the handles hold up to Garage use well. Those are my goto's in the Garage. They often get non-screwdriver use: prybars, hole alignment, hole punch, paint stirring etc.
I have a set of Craftsman Pros in the Garage that stay clean and are for turning screws only. The current CM pros have a great set of torx - long shafts that are the same diameter as the tip. I don't think the handles on these are as tough as regular CM as far as standing up to solvents.
My inside box has Wiha, very nice drivers (red handles with spinner tops), but hard to keep clean in the garage.
Generally, only Philips and Torx get used to turn screws, and then is often with a cordless driver. The big set of regualr CM drivers is around $30 and has lifetime replacement....hard to go wrong there. Made in USA and you can buy singles of virtually any size as well.
