I ask questions because I trust the opinions on this site. I'm just DIY guy, so don't always know what is best. Anyway, I need opinions on this floor jack. Its a low profile, 3 ton HF jack. Anyone have experience with this particular jack? Let me know. Also, I need jack stands and looking at some from HD. I'm sure this has been asked before but the search from my phone *****. Thanks!

I have a similar HF 3 ton jack. Mine is yellow. Not sure if it's the same one. I am extremely happy with it. Have lifted the rear of my 1500 Suburban with no issues. My favorite feature is the "cup" is threaded, so I can raise or lower that part. Increases your lift range and allows you to line things up before you start lifting. Don't remember how much I paid for it, but do remember at the time it was worth the money. I would buy another without hesitation.

I have that same jack, it's been trouble free jacking up my Mustang convertible, acura tl and a Dodge charger. No complaints from me. Just make sure you use jack stands!

Well, I know it went off sale yesterday. lol

I bought that jack a few weeks ago and it seems solid enough. My son has a mustang that is so low we couldn't get a bottle under it so I needed a floor jack. That one was on sale for $79 so I grabbed one. The only thing I am worried about with it is the handle seems a little flexy to me. The jack itself seems pretty well made though, so if the worst thing that happens is that I have to make a new handle for it I'm still good. It's lower than the standard 3 ton jack and lifts higher.

That long, low profile jack from HF has worked really well for me. I have several low cars and have no problem reaching the front subframe or the rear end with the jack, where others are too short. It also lifts really high. I'm super happy with mine.

My tools are for home DIY also as I work in an extremely busy automotive/tire service shop and anything heavy duty I can do or have done at work. That being said I only have a few HF items and this jack happens to be one of them. I've had it for a couple years or more and it has served its purpose for occasional use. I chose it over the Black/Yellow Craftsman because of the high lift height and if memory serves the reviews at the time on the Craftsman were terrible and the HF had great reviews. If you combine all three HF part numbers for this jack it has over 200 reviews with a 4.5 star rating. My tire techs would probably destroy it in a couple weeks but for home use it is an excellent value IMO. I've used it on Honda Pilot and Accord all the way to Chevy Tahoe and 2500HD.

I have that exact jack.

I like it other than the squeal it makes when pumping a car up - I should bleed it again. it holds the weight well, and I do like it! very good value. girlfriend got it for me for x mas
