I'm outfitting my shop and trying to do so at minimal cost. Some of you have older or seldom used tools sitting in your shop that you rarely use and may want to get rid of, and anyone that has a garage or shop, usually likes to customize it with signs or decals.

So here's my idea: I need tools, and you want signs and decals, maybe neither of us has extra money to spend on what we want, so how about we trade?

I make decals and signs for a living and can make most any decal or sign up to 4x8, altho I have made some longer banners and signs. Take a look at some of the designs I've made in my album here:
http://garagejournal.com/forum/album.php?albumid=1054

Below is a list of stuff I'm looking for. It's not conclusive, and I may be overlooking something. As I've learned on GJ so far there's always a tool I didn't know about, but once I see it, I'm thinking "man, I could use one of those". I primarily am focused on wood working, and misc d.i.y. projects but want to start doing some more of my own mechanical work. Any brand is cool with me. I'm not hard on my tools and don't do heavy duty projects, so snap-on/mac is not worth as much to me as it would be to many of you.

-------------
EDIT* this list is updated to my current needs/wishlist. Big thanks to the guys I was able to trade with so far!
-------------

  • visegrip style or locking C-clamps
  • regular C-clamps
  • fine tooth ratchets
  • gearwrench ratcheting wrenches
  • dead-blow hammer (I think) I want the plastic coated kind with shot or bb's inside
  • pneumatic impact wrench
  • pneumatic die grinder
  • air chisel & bits
  • air ratchet
  • impact socket set
  • dremel tool & bits
  • 12v compact impact driver
  • top chest toolbox w/drawers
  • Plano organizers and storage containers
  • Rolling tool chest w/drawers
  • router or shaper
  • Belt/disk sander (36" or larger)
  • Jointer
  • supplies for oscillating spindle sander
  • sharpening stone & supplies
  • task light - adjustable to mount over my workbench.
  • extension cord reel
  • shop light on reel
  • air hose on reel
  • painting equipment
  • cutting torch & accessories
  • nail killer drill bits
  • wood lathe chisels

If you have anything on the list or have something else you think I may be interested in, and would like to trade for something custom, let me know!

Bump.

I'm also looking for a set of polished combination wrenches (SAE & Metric). Doesn't have to be a particular brand, just so they are all the same brand.

I think I'd prefer a corded drill. I want some more power and longevity than my battery drills offer. However I'll consider another cordless depending what it is.

As far as an impact, I don't have an air compressor (yet) so an electric would be the most useful right now, but I hope to soon get an air compressor so pneumatic is fine. size... I primarily just want it for lug nuts on my vehicles, so as long as it works I'll be happy.

Milwaukee stuff has my full attention ;)
