True. I'd suggest watching ebay for viton gloves. Every so often you'll find a pair at a reasonable price.

Green Anselel Solvex gloves work great. Just verify that the Nitrile is compatable with your solvent, compatibility charts are available online.

For what it's worth. I have used silver shield gloves for things like paint stripper and have never used any chemical that will kill them.
I put them on then put on a pair of cotton gloves that had the palm dipped in some kind of rubber over the top.
It makes working with them much easier.

I use these. 15 to 22mil thickness Nitrile, flocked or not, whichever you prefer.
