Ok so I have been signed up to help sell off some of my dads works old equipment. He works in the office so he doesn't know much about the machinery. I know they are old and used. He said they still work. I need to sell them and I need to know about the specifics and a good place to list them.

I know 2 of the items are air compressors
and the other item looks to be some kind of cutter.

The hendey looks like an old shaper that someone converted into some type of specialized rack cutter :dunno: It looks like everything might be there for the table. I'm curious as to what he was using it for with the motorized jig and feed chute setup. I really doubt you will find someone willing to pay more than scrap price for that thing. Unless you can a.) Figure out what it was being use for and b.) Find that person that needs it.

The air compressors look a bit rough and will probably need a throughout going over before being used. Just to evaluate what if anything is needed.

What type of work does your dad's work do? They must really be hurting if they plan on nickel and diming old machines to make a buck.

Craigslist and ebay for listings.

Howdy Tater,

Where's the clapper box and vertical feed for the shaper? Without that, it's just a pile of scrap as it can't be used as a shaper!

The compressors look REALLY rough. I'm not sure they'll fetch much more than scrap.

This illustration shows the missing parts:

They make security doors. I believe the hendley was used to punch out hinges on Z bars but im not 100% sure.

They arent hurting for money. They are making space for more storage and instead of scarping them out they want to sell them since they still work.

That first one is a shaper
They are big, bulky, heavy and awsome......and hardly anyone knows how to use them anymore so they are not worth squat.....unfortunately.
I really want one and have come across several for very cheap but don't buy them because they take too much room up
