I just buy tweezers at garage/estate sales. I will buy anything in mint or lightly used condition from non emerging markets (Switzerland, Germany, USA, England…). Best case scenario is a pair made in Switzerland still in the plastic sleeve thingy. I go through more of them than most people because my kid takes some to work on his models and my wife takes some to work on crafts.
Here are a couple pairs that my kid uses for building his models. One is Peer made in Switzerland and the other is Grobet USA. He has a bunch more pairs, though. These are just the ones he has out.

He wanted a cheap set of model tools, but everything in the set was Chinese and Pakistan. I built him a set out of stuff I already had. Everything is much better quality… and it cost me less than the cheap tools.
