Put a few tools you want into a shopping cart on amazon or tooltopia or wherever and ask her for the credit card.

Depending on what you already have and what kind of work you do in the garage, I would probably be looking at a compressor or a welder...

I would pick something you would not usually buy but could use frequently and enjoy using when working with it.

Sent directly from the Snap On Kool Aid factory.

You lucky guy, treat her well, she is a keeper.

Wait just a second, maybe the flip side is that she is jealous and wants to make sure you are in the garage playing with your tools and not some other kind of fun.

Oh well only you know your situation. Good luck.

Don't forget the Harbor Freight 20% off coupon, can be used at HF, but many people are having success using them at Lowe's and HD. Good luck.

Does your wife have a sister?

It's hard to say without a pic of this wife, but I can't imagine anyone who can't come up with $700 of "needs" in under fifteen seconds. Tsk Tsk.

I'd get something a level up from what I'd normally get for myself. For example I can't justify buying a dual 80 ratchet because at my age I won't recoupe the cost before, well you know. In this case I'd buy one and every time I used it I'd know why I have it instead of a cheaper stand in model.

What I'm sayin is don't go for volume HF deals, get the best there is, something that's up there with that wife of yours.

Wouldn't rush to spend it all .

Get the items originally on your list, some small things she can wrap to make her feel like she is giving you a gift and just do gift cards for the balance. Spend it when you know what you want/need

Use the money to upgrade your garage. Better lighting, more outlets, epoxy floor, etc. Or put some of your money with it, and go for a lift!

How about a nice video boroscope? Depending on what kind of work you do, it can come in handy to inspect small areas like cylinders, look for dropped nuts/bolts, find sources of small leaks when mirrors aren't enough and other uses.

How are you for tool storage? I hate saying this but how about Harbor Freight, don't forget your coupons.

toolbox, welder, drill press, vise.

I'm liking this list as a start, but not necessarily in that order, and not knowing what you already have...

Workbench
Vise
Drill press (and a set of drills)
Tool box
4-1/2" angle grinder
Compressor
1/2" drive air impact
Deep Impact sockets
Hose reel with hose
Decent ramps
Floor jack
Jack stands (Not that ****** cast iron imported ****)
Creeper

And ditto on the negligee... :pimpflash

Why do guys always ask if a good wife has a sister? Chances are that even if she had a sister, the sister would have her own character her own priorities her own likes and dislikes and most probably, IMHO, it would be the total opposite. I think you guys understand what I am saying.

It's a running guy joke, nothing more than that.
